Waikiki Circa 1960

Take a look at this very cool picture of Waikiki shortly after Hawaii became a state.  The next twenty years would bring an onslaught of construction which would dramatically change this tropical skyline.

Recent improvement projects in Waikiki, including the renovation of the Royal Hawaiian hotel and the new Lewers Street help breathe some life into the area.  If you love to shop, eat and want a killer beach to realax at.....this is a super spot !!  Hana's Favorite hotel is the Halekulani....
